The TOA TS-800 Wireless Central Unit is a key component of the TOA Infrared Conference System, providing a safe and efficient communication solution for conferences of all sizes. Its wireless design makes it easy to install and remove, offering flexible layout options for dynamic conference setups. The TS-800 connects to the TS-801 Chairman and TS-802 Delegate Units and provides full control over the conference units. Up to 64 active units can be connected to the system, making it suitable for both small meetings and large conferences.

This central unit supports up to four infrared transmitter/receiver units (TS-905/TS-907), with the option to expand up to 16 units using four distributors, ensuring seamless audio transmission and reception in large venues. The TS-800 is equipped with multiple input/output terminals, including MIC and AUX inputs, and a headphone output for private listening.

The unit offers several functional features to enhance the conference experience, such as a simultaneous speaker setting switch (1/2/4), mic-off setting switch, and speech priority selector switch with three options (FIFO, LIFO, and fixed priority). The system is controlled externally via a D-sub connector and includes LED indicators for audio signal reception, data signal reception, and battery status, ensuring that the conference system is running smoothly.

The TOA TS-800 is powered by a 100-240V AC supply and consumes 72W of power. Its compact design allows for easy integration into standard equipment racks with the optional rack mounting bracket (MB-TS900).
